September 1, 2008 will make one year that Dominic and I will have been a family. I can't believe it is already here. It seems like the time has flown right by! How about a recap on our first year together...

c) I got a new job 1/2/08
d) We start looking for a new house to

Which brings us to today... 8/27/2008... We are about to celebrate one year together. I can't wait to give Domin
ic his anniversary gift...Of course that will have to wait until early September because it won't be in in time for 9/1/2008.

As soon as we get home we are going to the bank to look to purchase a house which we hope to make our home :) so we can stop having Wallace in boarding and be a family again!!! It sucks having him not with us!!! but it was great to spend Saturday afternoon together....

Let me share a few pictures with you.....

The house that we are looking into making an offer on...Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Time to Catch up

So it has been 10 days since the last time I blogged. It seems like forever! Where do I begin?

Whats new in my life:
  1. -Doc working a few nights a week as a police officer
  2. -Low carb diet
  3. -Vacation is coming really soon

Number 1. Doc loved working as a full time police officer but as everyone knows the nursing job pays a whole lot better! So he has the best of both worlds. He has two jobs that he loves! Its been a bit of a change for me. I've gotten so used to him not working night shifts. Although I love when he gets home and he's all proud of him self. I love seeing him back in uniform doing something that he totally enjoys!

Number 2. Doc has been doing the low carb diet since the beginning of July. He has done EXTREMELY well! He has lost a total of 25#'s. Which is fabulous! He looks awesome and feels awesome too! I've been doing it for almost two weeks and I'm see results as well. 10#'s this far. Not as great as him but so far I love the fact that some of my favorite jeans fit again (I haven't worn them since last fall). Which is GREAT motivation to get out there and get active. There are other pairs that I would love to wear again! So I'm setting the clock extra early tomorrow to get up and get outside for a jog.

Number 3. Two weeks tomorrow we'll be on the road for Alabama for vacation! I can't believe its already here. I can't believe that its going to be a year since we got married. It seems like the time has fly right by. I'm really looking forward to some time off. Since I started at the hospital I haven't really taken any time off other than one long weekend. I haven't called in sick or played hooky. I cause that is a sure sign that I truly love my job. I want to be there. I want to be there early.... I will work late if I need to. I love everything about it! I love the people I work with they are the best two women! I love them! I love the members. I love the office feeling. I couldn't ask for anything better! I love it. So as much as I'm looking forward to spending 12 days away on vacation--I'll miss the girls too. I'm trying to think of something cool to bring them home from Mexico or the journey along the way. hmmm.....

Well that really sums up my thoughts for tonight. I'll continue to catch up tomorrow.....

Ebay....

I'm in love with selling stuff on eBay. I have sold left over items from our wedding, jeans and sweaters, boots, and various scrap booking items. I love everything about it! I love watching my bids go up, up and up. I just sold two American girl dolls that have sat in a closet since I was little for $80.99 , I think its AWESOME! I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with the money that I'm making of selling some stuff I have stored away in this closet. I'm thinking maybe a new purse or various items that I've been thinking about getting like.... a new pair of ballet flats or a new fossil wallet or a camo messenger or maybe I'll be really crazy and buy myself a new pair of designer jeans for $200. HAHA. I couldn't do that, besides they wouldn't fit my big butt!
