Super Heroes aren't supposed to get sick. And especially mine! We came into the ED at 2030. He was having chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, and experincing some neusea. Initially he thought it would pass. When things kept getting worse we put Wally in his den and headed to the hospital. I attempted to keep my shit together but seeing in distress was and is awful!
The emergency room was packed when we arrived. There were 4 people ahead of but his symptoms took importance over the people ahead of us. Once in Medical room 2 he was immediately hooked up to a cardiology monitor and they began an EKG. But not before they got out the shaver to remove some of my superheros pelt! He had labs drawn to do a complete overview of his chemistry. The xray team came and took him for a couple images of his chest.
Dr.T has been fabulous! He is making sure to keep me informed on the information they have collected thus far. Xrays came back normal. EKG was fine but they will repeat one we have lab results.
Cap is still being monitored and trying to rest while I blog via my blackberry. Anything to keep me awake and "together" emotionally at this point. The waiting game is terrible! Unsure of whether or not they will keep him overnight. Anything for answers. Anything for my superhero to be well.
